Graduation at Maple Leaf International School-Shanghai is based upon credits earned by the individual student. At each grade level there are specific courses, or categories of courses that students are required to take.

Students must gain a total of 80 graduation credits to gain their Dogwood Diploma*.

Students must pass English 10, Com/Eng 11, Com 12/Eng 12

Social Studies 10 and 11

Science 10 and one Science at the 11 or 12 level

Math 10 and Math 11

A Fine Arts and/or Applied Skills 10, 11 or 12

Planning 10

PE 10

Part of the BC Dogwood 80 credit requirement also includes the maximum allowable Chinese Course credits

A student cannot be in the same grade more than two years. Discussion with parents and decisions about alternative educational experiences can result.

学生必须通过10年级英语、11年级英语或11年级交际英语 、12年级英语或12年级交际英语、10年级与11年级社会学、10年级科学课、完成一门11年级或12年级科学类课程、必须通过10年级和11年级数学课、必须通过10，11或12年级应用技术类或艺术类课程、必须通过10年级个人规划课、10年级体育课和毕业过渡课程。

加方毕业80学分包含可允许的中方课程学分

一个学生同一年级课程最多只能学习两次。否则需和家长讨论并决定学生的其他教育途径
